One Drink

We walked to get a cup a coffee
Walked to get a drink
We walked to get a lot of things
And we brought each other what lovers bring
We shared so many moments and yet we didn't know what was happening

You brought my eyes to a view full of clarity
You brought me to realize who I was meant to be

A life I would have not known

We cleared a path together

Through thick brush, mud and large stones
We hurdled through the unknown
Hurdled through the untouched land together
